What is agender? Those who are agender don't feel they align with any gender. They are genderless. They see themselves as neutral. Of course, not all agender are fully agender they can be partially agender to varying degrees. Nothing is either/or. They see themselves as just human beings who are gender free.

Here's a quote from the National Cancer Institute to help you and our UK government understand:

"The gender binary describes the inaccurate concept that gender is categorized into only two distinct forms (i.e. man/woman). Many gender-expansive identities exist either between or outside of this binary, such as genderfluid, genderqueer, non-binary or agender.1 Various pronouns like the singular, third person they may be used to reflect gender neutrality."

I'm sure these cancer scientists would be classified as experts so they are not talking through their a***!

Furthermore, and I paraphrase the last passage: awareness of self reported gender identity compared with sex assignment at birth is essential when understanding medical records and research databases as well as including it in your research methodology.
